Presentation
Location
Located on the north bank of the Loire, the Bourgueil vineyard covers almost 1300 ha.
Terroir
Between Ingrandes de Touraine and Bourgueil, the vineyards are on a south-facing slope.
Harvest
Harvested from grapes selected for their fresh fruit and ripe fruit aromatic profiles.
Winemaking
De-stemming. Vinification in temperature-controlled vats (24°C) and short maceration to preserve the suppleness of the tannins and the fruitiness of the grapes.
Ageing
Aged for 5 months before bottling in spring.

Alcohol content : 12 % vol.

Serving
Serve slightly chilled (14-16°C).
Visual appearance
Intense red with black highlights.
At nose
A powerful nose with a lovely aromatic complexity: black cherry, blackcurrant, accompanied by a touch of liquorice.
On the palate
The palate is characterized by fine balance, good volume, fine tannins and a fresh, minty finish.
