The wine
The wines from this estate are strongly influenced by traditional production methods, and are ambassadors for their appellations.
This appelation covers 23 communes to the south-east of Nantes, around Vallet, Clisson, Le Loroux Bottereau, and Vertou.
The “Ecume” cuvee is made from grapes grown on the left bank of the Loire, upstream from Nantes, in an area from Nantes, in an area known for its fine cuisine.
Located between the Sèvre and Maine rivers, the Terroir, mixed with volcanic rock, has a great deal of light, stony soil, either silica-based (mica-schist gneiss) or more alkaline (gabbro amphibolite greenstone).
Gently pressed, then fermented in temperature-controlled vats in order to keep the aromatic potential.
Aged on its fermentation lees for 8 months to give more roundness and minerality.
Melon de Bourgogne : 100%

Best served chilled (8-10°C).
Tasting notes
Pale yellow colour with greenish highlights and an intense floral bouquet with overtones of spice and fruit. Its richness, balance, and freshness make this wine an excellent example of its appellation. It is enjoyable young, but will age well for several years.
Food and wine pairings
Best served as a perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood dishes. White meat dishes, especially when the wine is a few years old.
