Location
Located north of the beautiful Loire Valley.
Terroir
The Coteaux du Vendômois appellation covers limestone hills with flint and clay topsoil. These follow the meandering Loir River and have excellent sun exposure.
Vinification
Gentle pressing and light settling of the must. Fermentation at 18°C
Ageing
Maturing on fine lees until bottling in spring.
Varietals
Chenin blanc : 100%

Serving
Serve chilled (8-10°C).
Tasting notes
Beautiful yellow crystalline colour with subtle shades of bronze. Deep nose of flowers and fruits (peach, blackberry, crystallized citrus) with lovely mineral notes. Well balanced and round on the palate. A nice, smooth finish.
Food and wine pairings
This white wine is an ideal partner with zucchini carpaccio, grilled prawns with Espelette pepper, scallops “tartare”, fishes dishes and goat’s cheese.
